My Camel Trophy is (almost) ready! This customized remote controlled car from Traxxas TRX-4® Scale and Trail™ Crawler took me a bit more of work and patience, but since this was my second trx4 body I got to work on, I also had a little bit more of experience to tackle the challenges.
For my first video of the freshly painted Camel Trophy, I picked a nearby reservoir for an easy ride. I really didn't feel like bashing in against rocks and mud after so much work! As usual, I try my best to keep all the natural sounds, specially the broom-broom coming from the Team Associated ESS - Dual+ Engine Sound. A BIT OF HISTORY
The Camel Trophy was an off-road car race sponsored by the Camel cigarette company between 1980 and 2000. The competition featured lots of Land Rover vehicles.. and they were all very cool!MY CAMEL TROPHY: THE PROCESS
Never easy, never done! A couple of goof's here and there, but at least I was able to get it painted with the right color.
Time flies whee you are having fun! And sure enough before I knew it the evening came to an end. Next project? Most needed lights kit!
